gdb-7.6 hangs in qtcreator-2.7

If I set a breakpoint in a thread other than the main thread then gdb will hang when the breakpoint is reached. If I downgrade to the gdb-7.5 package for Ubuntu 12.10 then it works fine.

It seems that it is qtcreator's gdb plugin bug. I've tested 2.7.0 from raring repository and 2.7.1 from Digia. Looks like behavior change in gdb since 7.6. It is not gdb core bug because I successfully debugged my app from gdb command line interface.

I have the same problem, downgraded to the gdb 7.5 from Ubuntu 12.10. Notice the following Qt Creator bug report, it is said that it is "caused by the GDB regressions" and "there is not much Qt Creator can do here".
