gsettings-data-convert crashed with sigabrt in g_object_newv()

I originally reported this as bug 736146, the retracing service asked me to upgrade some packages to produce a better stack trace and submit a new report if the error occured again. After upgrading I manually launched gsettings-data-convert and re-triggered the error, thus I'm filing this new bug and marking the other as a duplicate.

I have observed this problem in a wide range of systems that are used for testing, they automatically install Ubuntu and when they boot into the desktop environment, a window pops up about gsettings-data-convert crashing. Today I was able to produce this behavior on a virtual machine with a pristine daily image, which makes for a good minimal set of circumstances that trigger the problem.

Steps to reproduce:

1- Start the system with a recent Natty image (I tested the one from 20110316 but the problem has been observed in previous images as well).
2- As soon as the desktop environment starts up (for instance, a live cd environment) an error message for gsettings-data-convert pops up.

On attempting to report the error, apport complains that it's unreportable, I modified the .crash file to force apport into sending this report.

This appears similar to bug 725785, however I'm filing a new one as the version of gconf2 I'm using is different from that bug's.
