after upgrading to 10.04, I get the following message in a message box upon login:

Es gibt ein Problem mit dem Konfigurationsserver.
(/usr/lib/libgconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 beendet mit Status 256)

in the .xsession-errors file, I see the following entry:
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
Setting IM through im-switch for locale=de_LU.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
Auf die Dateien, die Ihre persönlichen Einstellungen enthalten, wird momentan zugegriffen.

Möglicherweise sind Sie von einem anderen Computer bei einer Sitzung angemeldet und diese andere Anmeldesitzung greift auf die Dateien mit Ihren persönlichen Einstellungen zu.

Sie können weiterhin die momentan geöffnete Sitzung verwenden, dies könnte jedoch vorübergehend Probleme mit den persönlichen Einstellungen in der anderen Sitzung verursachen.

I've exactly the same bug since I updated my Ubuntu 10.04 to Ubuntu 10.10, and there is some display bugs trough XServer.

I'm on on a LiveUSB since a while, anyone could help us please ?
