the problem is "software sources" not appear even i run "gksu /usr/bin/software-properties-gtk"..

Thank you for the report, but this is not a launchpad bug, re-assigning to Ubuntu.
We're interested in why you accidentally recorded this bug as occurring in launchpad instead of Ubuntu. If you can explain what happened, please let us know in bug 88818.

What version of software-properties do you use? Additionally, I have installed 0.75.4 (ships in Karmic) and I haven't received any issue when I ran it (system is up to date).
