gconf-editor does not set (some/all?) values if changed

gconf-editor (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

If "desktop->gnome->interface->gtk_key_theme" is set (don't know about other values), it is not reflected in
gsettings org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-key-theme.

If it is set in "dconf-editor" or with gsettings, it is reflected (seen) in gconf-editor. Seems if gconf-editor does GET the value but
does not set it / try to set it.
