Bug Description

Hi,

I found this bug in a fresh install of Jaunty.

I wanted to add the 'Quit' option in the System menu with gconf-editor.
in apps/panel/global, 'disable_lock_screen' and 'disable_log_out' are uncheck by default.
when I enable it, or re-disable it, it do nothing, the 'Quit' don't appear in the menu.

thank you

I can confirm this behaviour. In Intrepid, checking or unchecking these boxes changes the behaviour of the System menu, whereas in Jaunty toggling the options has no effect on the menu.

the issue there is not a gconf-editor one and now indicator session is used for those actions which deprecates the issue as described

Changed in gconf-editor (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Invalid
