Bug Description

❯ sudo apt install -t oracular-proposed gcc-for-host
[sudo] password for schopin:
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Unsatisfied dependencies:
gcc-for-host : Depends: gcc-x86-64-linux-gnu (= 4:13.2.0-7ubuntu2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: cpp-x86-64-linux-gnu (= 4:13.2.0-7ubuntu2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: cpp-for-host (= 4:13.2.0-7ubuntu2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: gcc-13-for-host (>= 13.2.0-11~) but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: libc6-dev but it is not going to be installed or
                            libc-dev
Error: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

This version is from a source version that appears to have been yanked from the archive at some point?

It's blocking me from merging glibc from Debian, where they started using gcc-for-host in Build-Depends.

gcc-defaults ended up being uploaded later in the day which this was reported so I'm marking this as Invalid.

Changed in gcc-defaults (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

I can confirm that the gcc-for-host uninstallability on -proposed has been resolved by the recent upload.
