Bug Description

On jammy 22.04.2, the default gcc is gcc-11, could we set it to gcc-12? Cause now the 6.1.0-oem kernel was built from gcc-12, and it will failed to built kernel modules.

gcc: error: unrecognized command-line option ‘-ftrivial-auto-var-init=zero’

Currently 5.19.0-35-generic was built by gcc-11.

On 5.19.0-35-generic kernel, it works fine with gcc-11 or gcc-12, cause the kernel was built by gcc-11.

This issue only affects 6.1.0-oem kernel.
