ADT failure building lttng-moudles for ppc64el

Bug Description

dkms module build fails due to an internal compiler error:

{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:186311: Warning: end of file not at end of a line; newline inserted
gcc: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1)

scripts/Makefile.build:294: recipe for target '/var/lib/dkms/lttng-modules/2.9.0/build/lttng-syscalls.o' failed

This failure was first noticed in ADT testing with linux 4.10.0-15.17, however rerunning the tests with 4.10.0-14.16 failed in the same way whereas it had previously built without errors.
