Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcalctool

Some versions ago, pressing key "Del", was like now "Esc", but this is not the problem. (just a suggest)
The problem now is that if I press Backspace, dont delete the last number. It delete all numbers, is very dificult to do opperations with this problem.

How do you reproduce this? If I open the calculator and type "123" then press backspace the "3" gets deleted as expected.

I'm using spanish version of ubuntu, maybe could be that...

In the video you can see the bug.

Maybe the buttons have bad connection with keyboard signals.

I've probe in this test case the bug with spanish version language on terminal.
The bug is only in spanish language.

Maybe this bug could be a "papercut bug".

Thanks for the clear reproduction. Very weird! Not a papercut though, this is a normal bug and I will fix it.

Fixed upstream. The bug occurs when inserting text anywhere in the display (e.g. putting the cursor in the middle of the number). This will be released in gcalctool 5.27.90
