Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcalctool

Using the calculator to perform a simple sum (e.g. 16995 - 17.5%) I punch in the required numbers in that manner and instead it performs 16995 - (17.5 / 100)

I know it seems trivial to a number of computer users that this would be obvious but my father was confused by this behaviour as by offering a single line in which to enter operations, the percentage function does NOT operate as expected.
He expected:
16995 - (16995*(17.5 / 100) )

Trivial I know, but hey - It's a usability bug in my opinion. Mark as you see fit :D
