Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcalctool-gtk

Upon doing a calculation.

On AMD64 Hardy 8.04 - with multiple monitors and Compiz turned on...
Hitting equal sign blanks out display. Hitting equal sign again - gets back to calculation - but the result will not display.
Result will then display if calculator screen is resized.

Have not yet checked scientific mode.

This seems to be when the calculation causes the display to have to scroll.

Example,

Using calculator with the Basic view and not stretched, enter 10000+10000+10000+10000. The view incorrectly displays the result. In some calculations is appears as if the figure has completely vanished as noted above although I suspect the value is 'off screen' to the right enough to be completely hidden. Re-sizing the window in any way seems to re-validate the layout and correctly display the components and values.

I can cofirm this. Did calculate 11+22+33+44+55+66+77+88+990 and the calculator did not dispaly any results if it was not streched enought.

Heres my screenshot. I'm using nvidia and dual screen xinerama.

Just noticed that when I copy+pasted 11+22+33+44+55+66+77+88+99 to the unstreched calcultor, streched it and then pressed enter, the calculator showed 0, not 495 as it should be.

Just noticed you can just press another button after pressing enter (such as +) and it will then show the result, so it seems to be 'moving' the result once another key is pressed.
