Bug Description
Binary package hint: evince
ganglia-monitor installs gmond perfectly fine. the only issue is there is a gmond module modpython.so that isn't loaded with the default distributed gmond.conf. I had to add the following snippet to get it working:
module {
name = "python_module"
path = "/usr/lib/
params = "/usr/lib/
}
running sudo gmond -c /etc/ganglia/
The alternative is to have this snippet be placed in /etc/ganglia/
