updated to dapper the gnome menu in gnome-panel does not work properly.

Bug Description

This bug shows that Ubuntu ppc dapper gnome-panel the applications menu does not work however, the places and system menu works fine. Cannot access the applications menu. I have even tried recompiling gnome-menu from source.No go.

ok here's a temporary solution for existing session
kill `pidof gam_server`

i added this to a startup session
kill `pidof gam_server`

this fixes the problem atleast until it's fixed normally.
Hope this counts.
