The bug is caused by the wrong includes of glib2.0: The pkg-config file seems to say: -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include, whereas the glibconfig.h file is in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glib-2.0/include/glibconfig.h. Reassigned to glib2.0.

Steve, that seems due to the multiarch updates, could you have a look if you see what is wrong?

This was already fixed in the upload of gamgi 0.15-3ubuntu3 - it was a bug in gamgi, not in glib2.0. I don't know why a duplicate bug has been filed here about the build failure in the old package.
