Bug Description
I expected: to be able to adjust alternatives.
What happened: no effect for any operations.
In several places within the file main.py (i.e. for all actual actions), the code executes update-alternatives using the path:
/usr/sbin/
If update-alternatives is installed elsewhere (e.g. /usr/bin, as on my system) then the operation has no effect. No error message is generated.
That is, the software is totally useless in this situation.
[A possible fix could be to have the code find where update-alternatives is located.]
Package installed: 0.13.5+nmu2ubuntu1

The path for update-alternatives is now universal as /usr/bin/ update- alternatives. Code in galternatives would now assume the right path.
Fixed by version 0.13.4.
