Bug Description

I've started gaim automatically at startup (gnome) and it crashed before i could see the contact list.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Could you get a backtrace of the crash (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash)?
