Display flickers on updates

Bug Description

When a client calls g15_send to update the LCD it will occasionally cause the upper right area of the LCD to go blank briefly (even if nothing changed in that region of the image).

I was able to reproduce this problem, but only if there were less than 1ms between LCD updates (that's 1000 FPS). With more sane update speed I could see no flickering. Therefore I'm marking this bug as incomplete.
If that's not your case, please provide a sample program which reproduces this bug.
