Bug Description

Binary package hint: frozen-bubble

This appears to affect other applications in Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 as well.

Usually, these applications are fullscreen apps - but FB will hang in either mode.

The only way to kill the app (when in fullscreen) is to open a new tty session and use kill -s 9 to close the app.

I experienced something very similar. Toshiba NB200, fully pathed Karmic: FB consequently freeze (no pun intended) on exit: you can play for as long as you want, but once you hit Esc to end the game, the window freezes. If you are good, you can een register to the hall of fame, but that's it. No refresh, nothing. Not reacting on any mouse of keyboard action. Killing the process from the terminal helps. Funny thing is, identical config on Asus eee901 works flawlessly.

I experienced the same issue of Piotr. Ha have a Dell M1530.
The issue started after upgrading to 9.10.
It's not always reproducible.

This happens to me every time, both on my desktop and netbook (eeepc 901) it seems affect all "rendered" games. I get it with Frozen bubble, Kobo Deluxe, Mirror magic. I have to use the "kill" command from the system monitor to stop the process "End Process" doesn't work.
