Bug Description

Can't exactly tell how to reproduce.

I have changed compiz scale plugin to initiate window picker in the bottom right and window picker for all windows in the top right corner.

In addition left-clicking or right-clicking on the top edge switches desktop (desktop wall plugin) and I have changed to 3 desktops in one row.

After those tweaks (as well as disabling global menus and adding a gnome menu button) I switched desktops and windows by moving mouse cursor and clicking. Then sometimes this crash occurs while switching windows and desktops but can't exactly tell under what exact circumstances.

Thank you for your bug report, that's not an unity bug, there are similar bugs on other components, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=761100 is similar and triagers there reassigned from the apps to pango, which seems a guess...

Reassigning to freetype guessing as well since that's where the segfault happens but it could well be due to pango or something else

affects: unity (Ubuntu) → freetype (Ubuntu)
