Bug Description

Binary package hint: freeplayer

Hi,

I've just install freeplayer on my laptop. This computer is on Ubuntu 8.04 and is connected by 802.11g (WPA) with a very good signal (>90%).

When I launch the freeplayer, i can access to TV interface and choose a media to read. In this example, I've launched "lemusicien.avi" placed on my home directory. When the media is selected, instead of playing the media on my tv, I've just got a black screen and nothing happened (no sound and no video). And I've the same behavior with all *.mpg or *.avi file.

I've a recursive message like:
...
access_output_udp debug: packet has been sent too late (xxxxxx)
...

See attachement for all vlc debug messages.

Can anyone confirm the problem or give me a fix?
Best regards,
