Bug Description

Binary package hint: freemind

Installed freemind with Synaptic under Ubuntu 8.04.
Started application from command-line.
Get a reasonably-looing screen, but menus nor anything else works.
Closing the window gives feedback that the application is not responding.
Output to the console below.

I can confirm that this is still a problem in 8.10 Intrepid. Since this bug is fairly new, I would suggest to prioritize it as a blocker issue, since it's not possible to use an application.
