Freemind fails to build from source, because it depends on j2re1.4. That package displays a copyright notice in postinst, with defaulting to no. This makes the package install fail, and thus, makes the freemind package fail.

It does FTBFS. I can build it with gcj but I don't know the package well enough to tell if it "works" with gcj.

The problem is that when building it installs j2sdk1.4, which has a ncurses dialog to accept the license and it's not showed when building.

We could alternatively build with icedtea. It works fine, except when running under Sun Java 6, which I'm looking at now.

Yes, but it also downloads gcj-4.2 so i decided to use it

Can I ask why you're trying to build a old version instead of the current stable version? Current stable is 0.8 with 0.9 already in beta testing, not 0.7.
