-u flag has no function

Binary package hint: fortune-mod

The manual says there is a -u flag that turns off localized fortunes.
On the contrary, there is no such a function in the program.Or at least it's disabled.

We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

It is not a bug as BUG.
The fortune-mod manual says there is a -u flag which turns off locale picking.
However, the program usage and fortune itself have no such a function.
You may call it feature request, if you wish to - but it's already introduced in the manual.

Same in Maverick. There doesn't appear to be anything restricted in the source, perhaps this was intended to be implemented but never made it. I have made a simple diff for the fortune-man.part1 page anyway and since the developers use LP as their bug tracker I will mark this as Triaged and see if we can get an answer on this.
