Bug Description

forked-daapd requires a revision number to be sent as a parameter in the update requests. Some players, like Amarok and Banshee, don't send this number. This causes forked-daapd to send an error to the players.

Looking at /var/log/forked-daapd.log I could find the following message:
[2012-01-24 16:07:48] daap: Missing revision-number in update request

I found this patch on the Internet:

Could you please try the latest version? Any version >= 22 should work nicely since I switched to a new active upstream in Debian.

Amarok support was added in 20.0+git20140530+gc740e6e .

Changed in forked-daapd (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Fix Released
