Bug Description
Binary package hint: foomatic-db
Brother has written GPLv2 licensed PPD drivers for the MFC-7840N and MFC-7840W multifunction/
http://
The MFC-7840W is a fairly popular printer (judging from sales rank on Amazon), so it would be nice to support out-of-the-box. Not sure how many MFC-7840N sold before being superseded by the MFC-7840W, but there's no reason to turn down a GPL driver supplied by the manufacturer.
