Bug Description

Binary package hint: ttf-dejavu

The width of cyrillic glyphs "Ф" and "ф" in monospace font is less then the width of others. A screenshot is attached.

Binary package version is 2.31-1.
There was no such problem with previous version

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version, such as 16.04.

I'm currently on Ubuntu 15.10 and dejavu fonts package is 2.35-1
which seems to be the latest. The bug still reproducible in
different editors.
