Fontforge loads .so files directly without version number

Bug Description

Binary package hint: fontforge

fontforge directly loads .so files such as "libxml2.so" and "libz.so". It loads them under those names (not "libz.so.1") so it must have the *-dev packages installed to work.

It probably simply needs to be changed to load different file names.
