Bug Description

fc-match Times always returns "Bitstream Vera Serif" "Roman" and fc-match Helvetica returns "Bitstream Vera Sans" "Roman".

A lot of PDF documents are now ugly in evince.

I think is similar to bug #31596.
The underlying problem is the fontconfig configuration.
