fontconfig error update

I'm getting a erroring trying to update fontconfig using apt-get dist-upgrade
I get the following error

I get the same error with Array 7 when using Synaptic to upgrade.
"subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 10"

Being that this package will not install, it is blocking other packages from
being installed as well such as: libqt3c102-mt libarts1 kdelibs-bin kdelibs4
mpeglib libarts1-mpeglib and surely more. I can't get passed those.

This bug is fixed in version 2.2.3-4ubuntu6, and subsequently
fixed "correctly" in 2.2.3-4ubuntu7.
