Bug Description

In 18.04.

Allowing custom preview text is absolutely crucial for a font preview tool, and it's been something font-manager has always had.

It's so easy to implement, I can't see any no reason to remove such an important feature.

As FontMatrix is long since dead, there is now no way to view a custom text when deciding what font to install or use, a crucial feature for graphic design work.

The preview pane allows custom text and always has.

It should probably be more obvious but it is there.

0.7.4 which was recently released allows custom preview text in browse and compare modes.
