Bug Description
My brother's laptop is running Ubuntu 9.10, and most (if not all) of the FN keys have stopped working. This probably isn't a bug with fnfxd, more likely, linux-image, but whatever.
The laptop is a Toshiba M35-A456 laptop. We noticed it as the key shortcut to switch active displays wasn't working. LCD up and LCD down do not work as well. What is curious is if I stop the fnfxd daemon and restart it, even when using the LCD, the daemon reports that the LCD is disabled and CRT is enabled.
We think that the LCD brightness keys worked either in Ubuntu 9.04 or earlier on Ubuntu 9.10. We did some updates today, and have discovered that the keys are not working.
Thank you.
