Bug Description

Binary package hint: fluidsynth

Hy,

I've tried to play this midi file "http://www.dreamtheater.net/midi/acos2.mid" with soundfont ftp://ftp.personalcopy.net/pub/Unison.sf2.gz on my laptop Dell Inspiron 1525.

When I play it with timidity, the speed of play is normal ("timidity acos2.mid").

But when I play with fluidsynth "fluidsynth /usr/local/share/soundfont/unison.sf2 acos2.mid", sometime it accelerate and sometime it decelerate compared to the timidity version (at about 25-30s after the start of the mid) ... The acceleration or deceleration are not expected by the midi file. So the midi file should be played at the same speed as timidity.

I use fluidsynth 1.0.7 on Ubuntu 8.04

fluidsynth:
  Installé : 1.0.7a-1
  Candidat : 1.0.7a-1
 Table de version :
 *** 1.0.7a-1 0
        500 ftp://ftp.free.fr hardy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I'm using an unmodified kernel 2.6.24-19-rt

It seems to be a bug.
