fldiff doesn't show correct differences

fldiff doesn't show correct differences when one of the files has only one line. In that case
fldiff shows in both windows the second file.

Four years later (bug reported 2008-10-16) and it is now 2012-12-21 and this bug is still present in the flidff package.

Why does it take more than four years to even have a bug assigned to somebody?

And so another 2 years have passed.

It is now SIX years since the original bug report was made 2008-10-16.

The bug is still present in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and the status of the bug continues as "Undecided" and " Unassigned".

Why in the last six years has the package maintainer not even checked the status of the bug report?

The fldiff program years ago is discontinued: the author of the code is not active and the website does not exist. Probably, it will be removed from Debian.

Finally, I have solved this bug in version 1.1 + 0-5 (available in Ubuntu from 2017-12-23).
I hope the result will be satisfactory for users. Fldiff is a program without the upstream maintenance and it is not easy to make changes due to the age of the code.
