Bug Description

I use a video webchat site within Google Chrome. Recently, I updated my Lucid packages, which contained an update to the Flash plugin. This newly updated plugin crashes whenever it attempts to access the webcam connected to the system. The previous version 11.1.102.63ubuntu0.10.04.1 did not crash.

Reverting to Flash 11.1.102.63 fixes the crash issue. For reasons of usability, I'd recommend that the Flash 11.1.102.63 package remain available in Lucid, until Adobe has resolved the crash issue in 11.2.202.235. The previous package may be downloaded from:

version no more supported; not a 'security' problem, so no backport expected
