Firefox hangs when interacting with webcam

1. Go to http://www.wocchat.com/chatroulette/
2. Right-click on the webcam window (to try and get Flash to detect the webcam - Cheese does fine)
3. Hang
4. Kill Firefox.

After killing Firefox, the console will fill with

This last line repeating forever until npviewer.bin is killed. I don't know if this is related or this is a separate problem.

Same is true in Facebook when trying to "upload" via webcam.

YouTube finds the webcam itself but when closing the window the hang is the same.

Firefox 13.0.1 in Ubuntu Precise cannot even start the webcam.
