Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

While upgrading from 8.04 to 9.10, flashplugin would not get installed. Tried reinstalling again after a restart after upgrade, it still failed.

Try installing either adobe-flashplugin or flashplugin-installer

You need to enable multiverse for flashplugin-installer
