Bug Description
Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
First things first :
I know that flash isn't free software and Ubuntu's devs can't fix it.
Description :
On karmic koala 64 bits with 10.0.32.18ubuntu1, youtube plays well but the mouse events won't have any effect.
For instance pausing, resuming or full screen options do not work.
This can happen on several other websites, I don't know what are differences between the flash apps that will cause this problem.
I don't know if other users can report the same issue, but if some do please consider replacing the flashplugin-nonfree 32 bits version and its dependencies with the prerelease 64 bits package available at
To make flash available for firefox, it is only required to extract the library in ~/.mozilla/
This seems to fix the problem regarding youtube and dailymotion.
Best Regards,
Lucas

This problem is highly annoying. All mouse clicks are ignored which means no pausing, hitting full screen buttons etc.
The workaround described worked for me after I also uninstalled flash via synaptic. If it hadn't worked I would be switching back to Jaunty - yes it matters that much.
