Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 I lost sound when playing flash and other streaming video on firefox and Konqueror, (latest releases). I also get no sound when I try to play .mp3s or .wav files through a variety of media players. When I test the sound card it works. Sound is also produced when I reboot the computer. Further, if I reboot in gnome the sound is working fine.

Hi John,

I checked and I had the firefox 3.0 gnome support. I uninstalled the package and intalled the 3.5 gnome support, but the problem does not appear to have changed.

thanks for the advise though
