Bug Description

Binary package hint: flashplugin-installer

Here is an odd one: I am using Kubuntu Jaunty RC. After updating packages, the first thing I did was to install flashplayer (sudo apt-get install flashplayer-installer), and open Konqueror to navigate to a page with flash (Corrected: http://www.dailykostv.com/w/001205/ ), then I get a crash and nothing displays (backtrace below). However, if I install Firefox (sudo apt-get install firefox), everything works.

Some of the backtraces posted here https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258447 look similar but not exactly the same, so I don't see that that's the same issue.

I just tried this in the released Jaunty, and while the link above still crashes the nspluginviewer, it no longer is fixed if firefox is installed. I should note that there is no problem viewing that page in firefox. Accordingly, I have changed the title to reflect that this is an ordinary crash.

I cannot reproduce this in the current Konqueror. I do have firefox installed, but I am able to see the videos in Konqueror
