2009-03-30 14:59:03 Carthik Sharma firefox-3.0: bugtargetname firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu)
2009-03-30 14:59:03 Carthik Sharma firefox-3.0: statusexplanation This is consistently reproducible at visitdirectair.com, and also at capitalone.com How to reproduce: 1) Visit http://visitdirectair.com 2) Click on the button to select a date 3) calendar popup appear under the flash animation to the right of it. This also happens at capitalone.com with the dropdown menus, so it does not look like an isolated problem with the visitdirectair.com website. To reproduce: 1) Visit capitalone.com 2) Hover the mouse over the horizontal menu items on top. 3) Menu dropdowns are occluded by the flash animation below them. This is not a firefox problem, since Opera on Ubuntu Hardy with the flash plugin behaves in a similar fashion. None of these problems appear when testing with Windows Vista, and Firefox. Changed the bug to be attributed to the flashplugin-nonfree package. Does Adobe have a bugtracker for their flash plugin that this bug can be upstreamed to? My search yielded nothing. Please let me know if you know the right way to forward the bug upstream and I will. Installed package information appended below. carthik@ying:~$ apt-cache policy flashplugin-nonfree flashplugin-nonfree: Installed: 10.0.1.218+10.0.0.525ubuntu1~hardy1+really9.0.124.0ubuntu2 Candidate: 10.0.1.218+10.0.0.525ubuntu1~hardy1+really9.0.124.0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 10.0.1.218+10.0.0.525ubuntu1~hardy1+really9.0.124.0ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-backports/multiverse Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 9.0.159.0ubuntu1~hardy1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/multiverse Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com hardy-security/multiverse Packages 9.0.124.0ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/multiverse Packages
