Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Hi All,

While using Firefox in Ubuntu, I am facing this bug time n again. I need to install flash player (to view various webpages like youtube, etc.) and a link called "click to download additional plug-ins" is coming. Whenever I'm clicking on the link and trying to install the flash player nothing is happening and firefox is not responding. So I have to opt for a "force quit".

I tried installing the same through add/remove option after downloading Linux-version of flash player. Then also the same thing prevails. I have to opt for "force-quit".

Hence, in either case I'm unable to install flash player which I need very urgently.

Pl. look into it and suggest a fruitful way out.

Regards,
Api.
