Bug Description
The flash location http://
First part of this bug is that the installer doesn't pick up the "HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found" status code and report this error. If you look at my second command trying to re-install it APT thinks that becuase the .deb file was downloaded and run that the package was successfully install. This isn't the case.
The second part is that the url needs to be changed. To the correct flash URL.
I hope this helps.

As a follow up I think this system of pulling the tar.gz file direct from the adobe website is a bad idea. Is it against the TOS to copy that file to ubuntu mirrors?
