Bug Description

Bug in intrepid. Firefox 3.0.5, flashplugin-nonfree 10.0.15.3ubuntu1~intrepid1, nspluginwrapper 1.1.2-0ubuntu1 on amd64 intrepid. Can also be reproduced in Opera.

Whenever I try to load a page at theonion.com containing a flash object containing a video or an audio stream, the object fails to load.

Examples:
http://www.theonion.com/content/radio_news/u_s_teens_lead_world_in?utm_source=a-section
http://www.theonion.com/content/video/sony_releases_new_stupid_piece_of

I understand that this may well be the result of defects within the Flash player itself, but lack of Flash is a serious usability issue for the average user, so getting a workaround is very important. Many thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. I just saw the same problem reported in another bug report but I can't find it right now.

Thanks for helping to make Ubuntu better!
