md5sum mismatch install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz on Ubuntu 7.10 64bit

This "md5sum mismatch" still persists on a fresh Gutsy 71.0 Ubuntu 64bit install. When installing via synaptic on is lead to believe the package has installed,however. upon testing a website with flash content it becomes obvious the flash plugin did not install.

Running this command from the terminal sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
