Bug Description

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
- Using Firefox, go to <http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html>.

RESULT:
- The settings manager never loads, showing only the page background.

WORK-AROUND:
- Reload the page several times till it loads correctly.

RELEVANT DETAILS:
- It works in Ubuntu 12.04 using the same browser and Flash versions.
- The "flash-player-properties" package is no longer available, so this bug effectively breaks video-conference in Flash.

Enabling the partners repo, and then installing adobe-flash-properties-gtk will provide you with flash-player-properties.

Okay: thank you.

On the other hand, I no longer use Adobe Flash. I just discovered that I can still do the same things without it, since many web-sites have now and HTML5 version and the Firefox web-browser has its integrated HTML5 video-conference service.
