Bug Description

Version of Ubuntu: 14.04
Version of the package: 11.2.202.350ubuntu1

Installing flashplugin-installer when a user has not updated the repos and the flashplugin tar.gz has been removed from the canonical archives causes flashplugin-installer to show that it has installed successfully - though on a second look, it has not installed the plugin.

Running wget on the url provided by flashplugin-installer gives off a 404 - yet flashplugin-installer does not indicate this error, nor the error that should be given when it attempts to extract an archive that doesnt exist.
