Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Thanx Seth.... im only very new to using the OS and linux.... any extra
advice u can give me would be greatly appreciated!!

I started removing all the options i dont use and need on the system, its
running better internally.... but now i need to figure out how to get
ubuntu software manager working again.... i do have synaptics, works
well.... fixed some errors reinstalling software. my main one that i come
across frequently is the man-db issue. i have tried alot of the suggestions
online nothing has worked. but everytime i install something new os tries
to install man-db... i have tried to modify the config logs but no luck so
far....

Adam.
