Flameshot fails in Wayland

I have been experiencing problems, first when I tried to use flameshot, and when I tried to take a screenshot, the screen zoomed in before I could select the area I wanted. Then instead of that happening, I would just get a little notification that flameshot failed. It works in X11, but not Wayland.
