M, I'm reviewing old untouched Firefox bug reports and came across this one. I went to the page that you referred to, which is obviously on your own website, using Ubuntu 18.04 and Firefox 61.0.1 and my PC was virtually disabled by intense disk activity. I managed to regain control of it my logging in remotely and forcing a reboot. NoScript protected me when Firefox restarted and tried to reopen the page.

What is on that page? Can you provide some details and/or a screenshot? Have you tested in other browsers on Ubuntu? Are any other Linux distributions affected? Have you changed the page since you raised this bug report to reduce or eliminate the problem?

M, added source of x9.htm as an attachment.
Seems to include a script but what is its purpose?
